"hi this is dwid, i wanna make sure that everyone is on the same page. Most of you know that i have an "on again - off again" relationship with chubby. the US tour we did reminded me how i do not want to be associated with him. i wanna thank all the kids who came out and all the promoters for booking us, i had a great time. The consistant OLC stigma really killed it for me. Right now i am focusing exclusively on my other band, sledgehammer which is drecording a cd for martyr next month, and am trying to find a new drummer to play the australian dates and then call it quits for integrity. I am really happy with the cd that deathwish released and truly appreciate all the positive feedback i have heard on it. I think its definitely time to move on. I really cant feel any animosity toward the kids in portland for jumping us because of chubbys affiliation with one life crew and his f.ucked up politics, I have despised olc for a long time, and that was a real eye opener as to how f.ucked up chubby really is. I am sorry for the kids who we were supposed to play for on the upcoming east coast dates, i hope you understand that i cannot play in a band with someone like chubby for several reasons.
